It’s interesting how many people sit in the same space but are experiencing completely different things? As I sip my coffee at this cafe, I am in multiple moods. I am thinking about all the work I need to do for my brand. I am thinking about my new job which I will start soon. I am thinking about how will I manage both? A little nervousness and excitement? I have been saying I want to get into marketing for so long and I find myself exactly there. Crazy/kismat? I will never know. With the great music in my ears, I let my brain run wild. But it also tells me how you never really know what’s going on in someone’s mind. I am pretty sure I just look like a girl typing away at her laptop doing some work but I am just typing this up. Tbf, I was working before this thought. on my right side, there’s a mom who is here with her young son. She seems quite tired and clearly wants to sit in peace. But her young son has so much energy! Through my lens, I get to experience how patient parents can be. Whilst wanting to hold space for herself, she also makes space for his curiosity within it. I guess that’s why being a parent is selfless. Two students next to me seem to be drawing up an architectural plan and seem to be quite frustrated with it (been there, done that). Despite their frustration, they manage to enjoy each other’s company. Ah! human emotions are so complex yet simple at the same time.
